Since Brexit, British nationals are treated as third country nationals in Cyprus. That makes the fast track permanent residence route, known as Category 6.2, relevant to them.

Before Brexit, British nationals moved to Cyprus as European Union citizens and did not need an investor route. Now British nationals are third country nationals, the same category the investment based permanent residence route is built for. The fast track route, Regulation 6.2, requires a qualifying investment plus proof of secure annual income from outside Cyprus, a clean criminal record and the intent to keep the investment.
The main route is a property purchase of at least 300,000 euros, before value added tax, in new residential property bought from a developer. The same 300,000 euros threshold can also be met through other real estate, through shares in a Cyprus company with real staff and presence, or through units in approved Cyprus investment funds. The main applicant must also show a secure annual income, with set additions for a spouse and each child.
Processing of a complete Category 6.2 file is commonly described as a few months. Confirm the current service time with the Civil Registry and Migration Department, since demand and document checks affect it.
Budget for the qualifying investment of at least 300,000 euros plus value added tax where it applies, the required annual income from abroad, and government and professional fees on top. The income thresholds rise with family size. Confirm all current figures with the authority before you act.

Not as freely as before. British nationals are now third country nationals, so longer stays and settlement usually need a permit, such as the Category 6.2 permanent residence route. Confirm the current rules with the authority.
No. It is residence, not citizenship. Cyprus citizenship would follow separate naturalisation rules after qualifying residence and other conditions.
No. The Cyprus citizenship by investment scheme was halted in 2020. The permanent residence route is a residence route, not a citizenship one.
