How we research, source, date and review what you read here, and why we never name a firm.

Information, not adviceAs of June 2026Last reviewed 25 June 2026

This page explains how we research, write and review what you read on passportsforkings.com, and the standards we hold ourselves to. Our aim is simple. We give you accurate, dated, source led information so you can make your own decisions and check everything for yourself.

Information, not advice

Everything we publish is general information. It is not legal, immigration, financial or tax advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship. The rules that bind you sit with the official authority and with the licensed professional you engage. We say this plainly on every page.

Sources and official authorities

For each programme we name the official government authority that runs it and publishes the binding rules, fees and timelines, and we link to that source so you can verify the detail. We prefer primary sources, meaning the government body itself, over secondary commentary. Where a figure can only be confirmed with the authority, we say so rather than guess.

As of dates and last reviewed dates

Programme facts move. Every programme fact carries an as of date that tells you when it was current, and every page carries a visible last reviewed date that tells you when a human last checked it. If a date looks old, treat the detail as something to confirm before you rely on it.

Accuracy and corrections

We do not invent an investment minimum, a processing time, a fee, a tax rate or an eligibility rule. If we cannot confirm a figure, we point you to the authority instead of filling the gap. If a programme is closed, paused or contested, we say so rather than leave a tidy but misleading page. If you spot something wrong or out of date, write to corrections@passportsforkings.com and we will check it and fix it.

Independence and how we are paid

We are an independent resource. We are paid by the people we help, never by a government and never by a firm. No programme authority and no advisory firm pays to appear, to rank higher or to receive softer treatment. This is what lets us describe a closed or contested programme honestly.

Why we never name a firm

We do not name, rank, recommend or review any specific immigration, law or advisory firm anywhere on this site. Naming a firm would turn information into a sales channel and invite exactly the conflicts we avoid. Instead we teach you how to choose well, and when you are ready we make a confidential introduction to vetted independent advisors through Get Matched.

How we suggest you choose an advisor

We encourage you to check that an advisor is licensed where required, that they disclose how they are paid, that they explain the official authority and the real timeline, and that they put the rules in writing. Our guides on how to vet an advisor and what a licensed agent should disclose go into this in more depth.
