Premium Residency is open to foreign nationals of any country who meet the financial and documentary criteria, so Brazilian applicants are eligible. The qualifying tests are based on payment, investment, property or talent, not on nationality. Each applicant needs a valid passport, a clean record, good health and proof of funds.

There are paid options and category based options. The unlimited permanent option is a one time payment, while a renewable option is paid each year. Since 2024 a set of category based residencies was added for investors, real estate owners, entrepreneurs, gifted applicants and special talents, each carrying a smaller issue fee and a validity of up to five years.
The real estate owner category requires full ownership of a residential property worth at least SAR 4,000,000. The investor category requires a larger commitment, reported at a minimum of SAR 7,000,000 with valid licences and a number of employees. Processing depends on the option chosen and the checks on funds and background. The paid permanent and annual options tend to be quicker than the category routes, which require business or property verification. Plan around the documentary review rather than a fixed date.
Premium Residency is a residence status, not citizenship. It can be held long term, and the permanent option removes the need for annual renewal, but it does not by itself make you a Saudi citizen.
