The Qualified Investor real estate figure has been extended rather than fixed. Confirm the live figures with the National Migration Service.

The qualifying investment

On the Friendly Nations Visa a commonly cited route uses a property investment of at least 200,000 US dollars, with employment and business ties as alternatives. The Qualified Investor route has used real estate from 300,000 US dollars, securities from 500,000 US dollars, or a fixed term bank deposit from 750,000 US dollars.

Government and processing

Both routes carry government immigration fees and processing charges set by the National Migration Service, and applicants pay for document legalisation and translation. Confirm the current official fee schedule with the authority.

Professional fees

Residency applications are usually handled by licensed professionals, and their fees vary by route and family size. We do not quote a single figure here. Use the Get Matched route to reach vetted, independent advisors.

Building a realistic budget

Add the qualifying investment, government fees, document costs and professional fees, then keep a margin for the property purchase taxes that apply on the real estate routes. The figures below are indicative and should be confirmed.

Common questions

Which route is cheaper?

The Friendly Nations Visa generally starts lower than the Qualified Investor route, but it asks for a qualifying tie and is open only to a defined list of nationalities. Confirm your eligibility first.

Do these costs include taxes?

No. Property routes attract purchase taxes and fees on top of the investment. Budget for these and confirm the current rates.

Does the spend lead to a passport?

No. These routes grant residency. Citizenship is a separate later process.
